Lead

Lead has been used in roofing for many years primarily as flashing (areas at the edges of a roof) for weatherproofing.

Lead is the perfect material for flashing; it is malleable, easy to cut and durable.

Available in standard widths of 150mm to over a metre. Roll lengths of 3M and 6M are available. The thickness of lead is denoted by a code, 3 4 5 etc.

Ancillary Items

Fixing clips. To secure lead sheet into brick work

Pattenation Oil. Used to protect the lead surface from carbonate forming

Sealant. Proprietary sealant used for grouting.

Lead Slate. Used to form a weathertight seal when a pipe exits a pitch roof.
